Although we are an organization company, we make an effort to encourage our clients to detach from unneeded physical possessions.

There is a reason why our spaces get unorganized. Maybe it’s the inability to detach emotionally, the lack of time to keep things tidy or maybe we just don’t feel like we know how to organize correctly which leads to things just piling up.

The bottom line is, the more we own, the more time and space it takes up. We spend more time trying to keep it organized. We spend more mental space feeling anxious about the mess. We spend more money trying to “make it look pretty”.

Our client was brave enough to let us conquer her kitchen this week! After seeing everything pulled out of her kitchen, she saw the need to simplify and totally got on board! We were able to donate many items then return just the essentials to her space. Everything has value, everything has a purpose and everything is simple to find. Before, items were piled upon other items, which lead to purchasing double of the same items and valuable items collecting dust. Now, being in the kitchen is enjoyable, and searching for an item is easy! We were able to simplify so much that there are a few cupboards that are empty!

 Feature Transformation: The Playroom.

Today we had the opportunity to organize and simplify two spaces at once—both designated for toys and games. With ages ranging from 16 months to 6 years, it was difficult for this client to know how to simplify! What do I save? How do I store it? How do I separate it?

We were able to create systems that allow the adorable 16-month-old to grab and play with her toys while creating a beautiful art station for the 6-year-old and keep her craft items up higher and out of reach of little sister!

We “decanted” all the games and puzzles into durable zipper pouches and containers and labeled them. We cleaned, we decluttered, we labeled, we organized and shifted a few things around.

We LOVE this transformation because it will bring mom and dad so much peace of mind that the correct things are out of reach, the right things are accessible and everything is labeled for an easy clean-up process, even for a 6-year-old!
